Book Review Sundays: The Girl With No Past By Kathryn Croft

Welcome back to book review Sunday πŸ™‚

Today I’m reviewing a new author I’ve discovered through the Kindle store and that’s Kathryn Croft and the book I’m reviewing is “The Girl With No Past”

“Leah Mills lives a life of a fugitive – kept on the run by one terrible day from her past. It is a lonely life, without a social life or friends until – longing for a connection – she meets Julian. For the first time she dares to believe she can live a normal life.

Then, on the fourteenth anniversary of that day, she receives a card. Someone knows the truth about what happened. Someone who won’t stop until they’ve destroyed the life Leah has created.

But is Leah all she seems? Or does she deserve everything she gets? “

Everyone has secrets. But some are deadly.

I love thriller’s and books that mess with you’re head a bit, so when I first started reading this I was a little disappointed because I thought I’d figured the secret out straight away. However when I carried on reading I realised I was so off, which for me is the best kind of psychological thriller! You see this story from Leah’s point of view, which for me made it easy to like her because you get inside her head and see why she makes the choices she does. It’s the kind of book I can’t say too much about for fear of spoiling it, but I would recommend giving it a read.Β  And for Β£1.99 on Kindle its a bargain. Click here to buy it.

I’ve read a couple of other books by Kathryn Croft and I think I may have found another favourite author!

I’m really into thrillers at the moment so please leave your recommendations below if you have any!
